Nostos Pure Tonka Bean essential oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruit of the tropical tree Dipteryx odorata. Its aromatic profile evokes caramel, almond and vanilla, and it is used as an ingredient in lotions, bath salts, perfumes, soaps and candles.
For use on the body, dilute it in a carrier oil, using up to 5 drops of essential oil per 10 ml of carrier oil. The essential oil may irritate the skin. It should not be used by pregnant women or children under 5 years of age. People with heart conditions or high blood pressure should use it with caution and seek medical advice. Store in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.
