The Purewave PWRO710PM reverse osmosis system filters water in seven stages and includes a pump and an 11-liter storage tank for installation under the kitchen counter. The stages include a sediment filter, two activated carbon filters, a 100 GPD TFC membrane, a carbon post-treatment filter, a remineralization filter, and an alkaline ion filter.

The TFC membrane separates 95–99.9% of dissolved contaminants, chemicals, solids, metals, bacteria, and microbes from the water. The coconut-shell carbon block filter captures particles as small as 0.6 microns and has a capacity of up to 35,000 liters. The remineralization filters add trace elements and minerals, while the alkaline ion filter enriches the water with calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and selenium.
