The Purewave PWRO5400PM reverse osmosis system is installed under the kitchen counter and includes a water pump. Its five filtration stages reduce up to 97% of various substances and contaminants, such as chlorine, pesticides, heavy metals, bacteria and dissolved solids.

The stages include a polypropylene sediment filter, a granular activated carbon filter, a coconut-shell carbon block filter, a VONTRON 400GPD TFC membrane and a post-carbon filter. The carbon block filter removes particles as small as 0.6 microns and can filter up to 35,000 litres of water. The membrane separates out 95–99.9% of dissolved contaminants, while the final filter removes odours and residual impurities and improves the taste and smell of the water.
