It is a quality construction and does not seem to break easily. Both my children, aged 3 and 5, have enjoyed it quite a bit. I give it 4 stars because the red button is not easily pressed to turn the "fruits" inside. Both of them struggle quite a bit, especially if they put something from their other wooden toys that are a little heavier, it doesn't press down at all.

Although plastic, it is well constructed and withstands falls! The little one has been playing with it non-stop for almost a year.
