Over 300 contemporary international artists have contributed museum-worthy pieces, ranging in scale from David C. Fredda's “Green Slipper Brooch” and Harlan W. Butt's “Maine Teapot” to large sculptures and public art.

About the Author: Sarah Perkins earned her MFA from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and is currently a Professor of Art and Head of the Metals area at Southwest Missouri State University. She has extensively exhibited her work in invitational and competitive group shows, as well as in solo exhibitions; her pieces are part of the permanent collections of the Brooklyn Museum in New York, the Museum of Decorative Metals in Tennessee, and the Long Beach Museum of Art in California. Her writing has been published in magazines such as Metalsmith, Ornament, and American Craft, as well as in numerous books related to enameling and metal arts. Perkins has taught numerous workshops across America, including at Penland, Arrowmont, San Diego State University, and California College of the Arts, as well as at Taiwan's National University of Arts and the University of the West of England in Bristol.
