ZWO EAFN – Automatic High-Precision Micrometer Electronic Focuser

The ZWO EAFN is the latest advancement in electronic focusers for astrophotography, designed to offer micrometer control and extensive compatibility, all in a compact and reliable design. This device enables fully automated focusing, both locally and remotely, seamlessly integrating with the most advanced astronomy imaging software.

Precise and Smart Automatic Focusing: Thanks to support for ASCOM and INDI protocols and seamless integration with ZWO ASIAIR devices and cameras from the ZWO Air series, the EAFN focuser can be controlled manually or automatically through advanced autofocus algorithms. These software analyze the shape and clarity of stars in captured images, adjusting focus in real-time with micrometer precision.

Automatic autofocus functions: The system can be programmed to automatically re-focus after events that typically affect focus, such as temperature changes and meridian flips. These functions can be activated with just a few clicks, eliminating the need for continuous manual intervention throughout the night.

Universal Compatibility and Easy Installation: The ZWO EAFN maintains the same mounting design as the popular EAF, making it compatible with a wide range of Crayford focusers, gear racks, and linear bearings. The kit includes 4 flexible joints (4-4, 4-5, 4-6, 4-7mm) to ensure compatibility with popular telescopes.

Flexible and Manual Control: The device features physical focus adjustment buttons directly on the body, as well as a 3.5 mm port compatible with the ZWO EAF controller, offering the option for control without software or a computer.
