Description & Specifications

The ZWO EAFN automatic electronic micrometer focuser adjusts telescope focus for astrophotography, manually or automatically. It integrates with ZWO ASIAIR and ASIStudio and supports ASCOM and INDI protocols, with control from a computer or remotely via ASIAIR. Autofocus algorithms analyze the shape and sharpness of stars in images and adjust the focus.

It can be programmed to automatically refocus after temperature changes, a meridian flip, a filter change, or a preset time interval. It features adjustment buttons on the body and a 3.5 mm port for the ZWO EAF hand controller, sold separately. It mounts on compatible Crayford, rack-and-pinion, and linear-bearing focusers, using the same mounting bracket design as the EAF.
