The Oceanic Slider lure is a plastic Minnow-style fish, suitable for fishing with live or fresh bait, as well as for use with a fixed or sliding rig. Its through-body construction allows the fishing line or braid to pass through the body, and it can be converted into a Tai Rubber rig by adding suitable assist hooks and skirts.

The body is weighted to help the lure sink and present the bait. Its two reinforced loops allow one or more teaser hooks to be rigged on the same or separate leaders. Shiny squid eyes are positioned on the sides of the head.
