  • Top mechanism with a plastic disc bearing the indication 0.5 or 0.3 mm, depending on the model.
  • Rotating ring band to change the hardness indication of the graphite: F, H, HB, or B.
  • Reveals a small eraser for access to the graphite refill chamber.
