On the watch I received, the hands are not clearly visible because they have almost the same shade as the gears behind them (unlike the photo, where the hands are brown and the gears are white). Thus, many times, in cases of a quick glance, low lighting at home, or a certain viewing angle, you cannot distinguish the position of the hands because they are not easily discernible.
