In Sweden and all over the world, the Pettson and Findus series is a true phenomenon. Everyone has heard of the old farmer Pettson and his companion, the talkative tomcat Findus. Wonderfully illustrated, the series has sold over 6 million copies and has been translated into 44 languages.

In the first volume of the series, The Pancake Cake, Findus likes to celebrate his birthday. But not just once, three times a year! However, no celebration is complete without the pancake cake made by his owner, Pettson. For that, Pettson needs eggs, flour, and milk. But the flour has run out, so Pettson has to take a quick bike ride to the store. Only, the bike tire needs to be pumped up with the pump that is locked in the workshop, and the key is nowhere to be found… and so on! Everything turns into an incredible and humorous adventure, at the end of which the two friends can enjoy the long-awaited pancake cake.
