The VE.Can cable for Victron CAN-Bus BMS is required for connecting a non-Victron battery that supports CAN-Bus to a Victron GX device. The cable has a length of 5 meters and corresponds to type A. It can be used, for example, with batteries such as: BYD B-Box, Pylontech US2000C / US3000C / Force-L.

The side labeled "CAN-Bus BMS" connects to the battery. The other side labeled "VE.Can" should be connected either to the VE.Can port on the GX device or to the BMS-CAN port. Both port types on the GX device can be configured for use with a third-party battery connected through a BMS. Configuration details can be found in the battery manual being used.
