The literary anthology for children and young adults "Hora" is the result of a collective effort to highlight the most pressing issues faced by youth today and aims to offer solutions. The book is part of the TIME Project (Together In the Middle of Europe), which brings together three publishing houses: Casa Publishing House from Romania, Zeleny Kocúr from Slovakia, and Cerkabella Kiadó Kft from Hungary.
In "Hora," 10 authors and 10 illustrators from the three countries participated, approaching the emotions of young people (aged 10-14) through literary texts and artistic illustrations—covering concerns, insecurities, worries, and anxieties. These can be alleviated or resolved through the normal cycle of dance in a circle, emphasizing collaboration, adaptation, and harmony with others.
TIME is an international literary and artistic project involving the collaboration of 30 authors, 30 illustrators, and 12 translators who worked together to create this literary anthology, through multiple professional and personal meetings, collaborative creative work, and travel exhibitions. "Hora"—a symbol of diversity, collaboration, and reintegration—is published in the three languages of the participating countries as well as in two international languages to reach a broader audience across Europe and worldwide.
The authors and illustrators who contributed to the book were selected through competitions organized by professional experts in the three countries participating in the project.
