One side of each bar is slightly oval, while the other three are squared off—a design that helps reduce noise while driving. The T-System slots accommodate compatible accessories, sold separately.

The protective caps are made of PA6 plastic and have provisions for optional anti-theft locks. The ends of the bars have protective plugs for inserting T-connectors.
