The Milwaukee tape measure has a 35 mm-wide blade designed for stability and rigidity, and can extend to measure distances unsupported by up to 5 m. The double-sided printing includes vertical and horizontal scales, as well as an architectural scale for measuring scale drawings.

The Finger-Stop feature allows the blade to retract quickly and in a controlled manner. The double-sided Anti-Tear coating on the first 15 cm and the full nylon coating help improve durability, while the housing is impact-resistant. The blade is straighter and more rigid for more accurate measurement of long unsupported distances.
