The soldiers of the Death Korps of Krieg are known for their dedication to the Imperium and their ability to fight in terrible conditions. They specialize in an unrelenting, attritional style of warfare, willing to sacrifice millions of lives to achieve victory. Their fighters are well-trained, carefully selected, and constantly trained almost from birth for their role as soldiers of the Death Korps.

This set is ideal for starting a new Death Korps of Krieg collection – or expanding an existing army – for Warhammer 40,000 games. This marble-like army is led by an Officer Unit, which includes an impressive Lord Commissar. Mostly, the force consists of versatile infantry of the Death Korps of Krieg – suitable for controlling the game board. Supported by a specialized Krieg Combat Engineers unit and two imposing artillery units.

This collection assembles 35 plastic multi-part miniatures of Astra Militarum:

• 7x miniatures of the Krieg Command Squad
• 2x artillery teams
• 5x Krieg Combat Engineers, plus 1x Remote Mine token
• 20x soldiers of the Death Korps of Krieg

The miniatures in this kit are easy to customize. The Lord Commissar can be armed either with a plasma pistol or a whip, as well as with a power fist or a sword. A Veteran Guardsman can be built with a laspistol, bolt pistol, or plasma pistol, and chainsword, power weapon, or trench club. Additionally, other Veteran Guardsmen carry the regiment's flag, a master vox, and alchemical anti-insurgency agents. There are also a range of optional decorative accessories, such as shovels, for further detailing of the miniatures.

The artillery teams can be assembled as heavy missile launchers, siege cannons, heavy quadruple launchers, or multiple rocket launchers. There are also many decoration and accessory options for the crew.

The Krieg Combat Engineers can be armed with a combat shotgun or autocannon with trench club. Alternatively, one can be equipped with a flamer and another with a remote-controlled mine layer. Finally, a Watchmaster can be built, who can be equipped with a bolt pistol, autopistol, plasma pistol, hand flamer, or combat shotgun, and chainsword, power weapon, trench club, or grenade.

Up to two soldiers of the Death Korps of Krieg can be built as Watchmasters – each armed with a plasma pistol, laspistol, or bolt pistol, and chainsword or power weapon. All vox operators can be assembled with or without their visual echo chamber or with a grenade in their left hand, and up to two miniatures can be built carrying medipacks. There are also many decorative accessories to further customize the miniatures, such as knives, axes, belt pouches, grenades, and others.
