The chest rig Chicom is a simple and versatile system that allows easy carrying of basic equipment. It has a history dating back to the 1940s and was widely used during the Vietnam War. It is designed for use in confined environments, such as urban areas or tactical CQB.
It is characterized by:
- Three pockets with velcro closures, providing easy access to equipment.
- MOLLE/PALS panels on both sides, ideal for adding extra pouches.
- Ability to increase the number of ammunition slots from three to five.
- Additional space for a first aid kit or pouch under the chest.
- Flat pouch for documents or inserts with soft velcro.
The Chicom is made of Cordura®, 100% nylon, weighing 430 grams and measuring 20 cm x 5 cm x 48 cm. It is compatible with AR and AK magazines and features a quick release belt and chest strap.
