The WAGO GELBOX is a three-pole branching box, pre-filled with silicone-free gel, designed for connectors of the 221 and 2273 series. It provides an IPX8 level of moisture protection, allowing full protection of the connectors from water and permitting their permanent immersion. The unique feature of the WAGO Gelbox is that it protects the electrical installation where it matters most, at the connection points, without the need to permanently release electrical disconnections.

The Gelbox is ideal for low and extra-low voltage applications, with the difference that in low voltage applications (e.g. 230 V) they are used combined with terminal connectors from common-use boxes, ensuring double insulation of the cable. Conversely, in extra-low voltage (SELV) applications, the terminals can be used with Gelbox without additional switches.

The WAGO Gelbox has been tested and approved only with terminals of the WAGO 2273 series and WAGO COMPACT from the 221 series for cross-sections up to 4 mm². It is available in six sizes and provides a high level of protection according to IPX8 certification, allowing complete sealing of the terminals from water.
