< p>VE.Can Cable for CAN-Bus BMS from Victron is required for connecting CAN-Bus compatible batteries that are not from Victron to Victron GX devices. The cable has a length of 1.8 meters and corresponds to Type B, which can be used with the following batteries:

• LG Chem Resu
• AXIstorage
• BMZ
• Pylontech US2000 / US3000 / UP2500

The side labeled "CAN-Bus BMS" connects to the battery. The other side labeled "VE.Can" should be connected either to the VE.Can port of the GX device or to the BMS-Can port. Both types of ports on the GX device can be configured for use with a third-party battery connected via BMS. For configuration details, refer to the user manual of the battery you are using.
