I proceeded to compile a volume of previously unpublished texts by Marios Ploritis, "updating" material that, recorded in the archives of our culturally most enduring past, can serve as a compass for an equally fruitful present and future.

It would be a shame for a creator who, as much as he worked for the newspaper and the magazine, also loved and worked for the book, for his texts to remain "homeless," meaning not integrated into the solid body of a book.

Especially since these are texts written, whatever the circumstances that dictated them, with the prospect of durability (indicative in this respect is the title, as exactly inspired and phrased by Stamatis Fasoulis, The Writings Remain), even if they concerned his theatrical reviews published for at least two decades in the newspaper Eleftheria.
