The set of 5 wooden Maidanovskaya nesting dolls depicts village girls wearing headscarves and holding flowers, in the traditional Polkhov-Maidan style. The dolls are hand-painted with acrylic paints and coated with water-based varnish. The four largest dolls open to reveal a smaller doll inside each one.
