A young refugee couple, saved from the destruction of Smyrna, walks bewildered in a city of a foreign tongue, Brussels. In 1924, "on the fifth of March," they are still there. A hundred years later, on the same streets, their grandchild searches for something from their faded traces. But his own steps unexpectedly bring him in front of a café.
