The Italeri F-86F Sabre Jet “Skyblazers” is a 1:48 scale model kit. The Skyblazers were an aerobatic team that made their first flights in the spring of 1949 in Germany, with pilots from the 22nd Fighter Squadron of the USAFE’s 36th Fighter Wing.

The team initially used F-80B aircraft, followed by modified F-84E Thunderjets, which had their .50-caliber machine guns removed for better handling during performances. By the summer of 1952, the team had performed more than 260 displays in over 12 countries.
