The Ermenrich Zing AL40 battery tester is designed to analyze the condition and performance of a car battery, as well as its main parameters. The device features an integrated display and connects to the battery via two alligator clips.

• Battery test: measuring voltage, internal resistance, cold cranking amps (CCA), battery health (SOH), and state of charge (SOC)
• Calculating overall battery health status based on the measurements
• Testing the vehicle's starting system and charging system
• Charging through the battery under test

The basic battery test detects voltage, CCA, internal resistance, and SOH and SOC values. Based on the measurements, the tester will assess the overall health status of the battery: good, fair, or weak. The device does not require external power, as it is powered directly through the car battery to which it is connected.
