The Sky-Watcher Wave-150i telescope mount uses a high-torque strain wave gearbox with minimal backlash and a compact design for high precision and performance. It supports equatorial and Alt-AZ modes, with EQ and AZ tracking, and is suitable for mobile astrophotography thanks to its payload-to-weight ratio.

The mount features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as an RA clutch and brake function when the motor or power supply is switched off. The latitude scale and level have red LED illumination, while the home position and limit functions cover the RA and DEC axes.
