The ZWO ASI 432MM monochrome astronomy camera uses a Sony IMX432 sensor and can capture the Moon, the Sun with a suitable filter, and deep-sky objects. Its low noise and lack of amplifier glow also make it suitable for long-exposure imaging, while its high frame rate is ideal for planetary observation.

The clear glass filter prevents dust from reaching the sensor and allows ultraviolet and infrared light to pass through. The camera can also be used for infrared imaging, as an autoguider via the corresponding connection, and for electronically assisted astronomy (EAA).
