It is used on an old desk with a medium-weight wooden door and old hinges.
Although I have had it for only about a month, the door opens and closes more than 20 times daily.
I have installed 2 identical mechanisms on 2 identical doors with the same results!

Good evening, it is okay to purchase, but only for very relaxed use! In an external door of a multi-apartment building with 20 apartments, it turned out to be useless (the oil leaked from the bottom flange) in 6 months. Replaced it with the same Cisa brand, which was made in Italy (which worked for many years), this one is Chinese.

    Perfect. I put it in the old holes and didn’t fuss much. I would have preferred the adjustment screws to be on the other side, but okay.

    We have an old door in the apartment building and we had issues with the old mechanism until one day the spring broke and it did nothing.

    After searching, I got quotes from locksmiths from €180 to €220 and in the end I installed it myself for €35.
    Very satisfied.
