Update: I no longer have it plugged in and I am using the router that is in the attic because it started malfunctioning. At random times, it would show as connected but couldn't open anything for a minute, although there was no exclamation mark. I opened the router again and it's working fine.
House is 120 square meters. I placed it on the wall in the middle of the house, about 2 meters high, and it reaches everywhere. I always had range issues with the router's wifi, but now I turned it off and connected only to the access point using the same credentials (username & password). It never disconnects. When I bought it, I set it up quickly and easily from my mobile phone and tested both wifi networks. When I moved about 7 meters away, I was getting the same speed with the access point, while with the router's wifi I was getting 2mbps (out of 12). Even in the basement, I could stream online radio from my phone without any interruptions. So, I recommend it. If anything changes, I will update.
P.S.: During the initial setup, it immediately asks you to change the password and name for the settings. When I tried to connect from a computer using the new credentials, it wouldn't let me in, so I had to reset it and go through the process again, this time from a PC. I don't know what the issue was.
Update: πια δεν το έχω βγάλει από την πρίζα και λειτουργώ με του router που είναι μέσα στο πατάρι γιατί αυτό άρχισε και έκανε νερά. Σε άκυρες στιγμές σε έδειχνε συνδεδεμένο και δεν μπορούσε να ανοίξει τίποτα για κάνα λεπτό αλλά δεν έβγαζε θαυμαστικό. Άνοιξα πάλι το router και είναι μια χαρά.
Σπίτι 120 τετραγωνικά. Το έβαλα στον τοίχο στη μέση του σπιτιού περίπου στα 2 μέτρα ύψος και πιάνει παντού. Με το wifi του router είχα θέματα εμβέλειας πάντα και τώρα το έκλεισα και έβαλα τα ίδια στοιχεία (username & password) και συνδέομαι μόνο στο access point. Δεν αποσυνδέεται ποτέ. Όταν το αγόρασα, το σέταρα πολύ γρήγορα και εύκολα από το κινητό και έκανα μετρήσεις και στα δύο wifi. Όταν απομακρύνθηκα γύρω στα 7 μέτρα, με το access point έπιανα ίδια ταχύτητα με πριν απομακρυνθώ, ενώ με το wifi του router έπιανα 2mbps (από 12). Ακόμα και στο υπόγειο (από κάτω) έπαιζε από κινητό online ραδιόφωνο και δεν έκλεισε ούτε στιγμή. Οπότε το προτείνω. Αν αλλάξει κάτι θα επανέλθω.
Υ.Γ.: στο πρώτο σετάρισμα ζητάει αμέσως να αλλάξετε κωδικό και όνομα για τις ρυθμίσεις και όταν πήγα να συνδεθώ από υπολογιστή στις ρυθμίσεις με τα καινούρια στοιχεία δεν με έβαζε και έκανα reset και ξανα τη διαδικασία από pc αυτή τη φορά. Δεν ξέρω τι έφταιγε.
