The Techstar Vgate Maxiscan Vs890 car diagnostic scanner connects via an OBD2 cable and displays information on a 3-inch color LCD screen. It supports SAE J1850 PWM and VPW, ISO9141, KWP FAST INIT and KWP 5BAUD INIT protocols, as well as CAN 11- and 29-bit at 500K and 250K, CAN_USER1 at 125K, and CAN_USER2 at 50K. It communicates with multiple ECU systems and fully supports CAN BUS.
It reads and clears trouble codes, including stored and pending codes, and can display a possible cause of the fault. It provides real-time data, Freeze Frame data, vehicle and module information, I/M readiness, O2 sensor, onboard monitoring system and component checks, as well as engine MIL reset.
