Gradius Origins brings together seven games in the series, including Salamander III, Gradius II: GOFER no Yabou, and Salamander2. It includes features for saving and loading progress at any time, resetting the game, and training with adjustable parameters.

Training mode lets you change restart points, the number of loops, and the power-up status, while Invincible mode makes your ship immune to enemy fire and records hits. There is also a gallery featuring music and images from the games.
