Very good base and at a good price. It wears out a bit quickly but not to a significant degree. Having used several bases of all materials, I would say that this is definitely one of the good (and healthy) choices

It fits well. I take care of it too. I clean it immediately with hot water. I have sharpened knives and I don't apply unnecessary pressure on the wood. It has no signs of wear and generally has nice stability, dries quite quickly, all good.
