The included System Hub acts as a central control node, allowing for automatic detection and configuration of connected devices. Each fan integrates a dedicated microcontroller (MCU), which manages bidirectional communication with the Hub, eliminating the need for multiple controllers. This design enables data and power transfer through a single cable, significantly improving airflow inside the case by reducing cable clutter and ensuring stable, synchronized operation.

Airflow Performance & Magnetic Dome Bearing

The QX140 series fans use advanced Magnetic Dome Bearing technology, which offers extremely low noise levels and minimizes mechanical friction, ensuring longevity. The fan speed is precisely controlled via PWM signal, with an extended operating range from 480 RPM to 2,000 RPM. This allows for high airflow reaching 82.5 CFM and static pressure of 3.5mm-H2O, making them ideal for installation on liquid cooling radiators as well as for general case airflow. Additionally, Zero RPM mode is supported, which completely stops the fan rotation under low thermal load conditions.

Multi-Zone Lighting & Built-in Sensors

The visual aspect is covered by 34 RGB LEDs per unit, which are strategically distributed across four distinct lighting zones (light loops), offering uniform coverage on both sides of the frame. Through the iCUE software, the exclusive Time Warp feature is activated, which uses stroboscopic effects to create the illusion that the fans are either stationary or spinning in reverse. Beyond aesthetics, functionality is enhanced by the built-in temperature sensor in each fan. The sensor provides real-time data to the System Hub, allowing the creation of advanced operating curves that respond immediately to the system’s thermal changes.
