The Dakine Daytripper helmet is designed for skiing and snowboarding and features MIPS protection, which reduces rotational motion transmitted to the brain in the event of an impact. The outer shell made from recycled ABS and the inner liner made from recycled EPS are combined with 10 passive vents.

The polyester lining has an open-cell foam layer. The helmet features a magnetic Fidlock® buckle that can be operated with one hand, an adjustable fit system with a dial, a goggle-retention loop, and removable padded ear pads that are audio-system compatible.
