Skin Glu adhesive wipes prepare the skin before applying a CGM sensor or protective patch. They create a tacky surface that helps the device stay in place for several days, even during vigorous activity, sweating or contact with water. They are hypoallergenic, latex-free and individually wrapped.
Before use, the skin should be clean and dry, with no oils or moisturiser. Apply a thin, even layer to the application area and allow it to dry for 10–20 seconds until tacky, without touching it. Then apply the sensor or patch and press firmly. Avoid exercise, sweating and showering for at least 2 hours. A specialised adhesive remover or warm, soapy water may be needed to remove the device.
