Succeeding the award-winning NF-A14 and based on the technological innovations of the pioneering NF-A12x25, the NF-A14x25 G2 is Noctua's next-generation top model 140 mm square frame fan: Made from Sterrox® LCP, the highly optimized Progressive-Bend impeller with blades, flow acceleration channels, and central vortices combined with a blade tip clearance of only 0.7 mm allow the NF-A14x25 G2 to further improve the renowned silent cooling performance of its predecessor.


Like the NF-A14 and NF-A12x25, it is a truly comprehensive product that delivers excellent results in all types of use, whether for low-complexity airflow applications such as case cooling, or for high-complexity scenarios with static pressure requirements, such as heatsinks and water coolers. For application-specific optimization, the NF-A14x25 G2 comes with a pre-installed NA-AVG2-LR anti-vibration gasket to create a tighter seal on radiators. Additionally, the AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame can be combined with the optional NA-IS1-14 intake separator, which can help achieve superior intake acoustics and flow rates in demanding intake configurations.

The 4-pin PWM version fully supports automatic speed control through PWM fan headers and features a low-noise adapter to reduce the maximum speed from 1500 to 1250 RPM. The etaPERF™ ultra-low loss motor with Smooth Commutation Drive 2 technology not only provides unprecedented energy efficiency and smooth operation, but thanks to the new SupraTorque™ function, it can also utilize additional torque reserve to maintain the fan at the desired speed when operating against back pressure, thus ensuring even better performance in coolers and radiators.

    The NF-A14x25 G2 is ranked among the top fans today and for many it has been the benchmark for years, especially in the field of air cooling.
    The airflow of the NF-A14x25 G2 is high but not the very best, and we believe that even today Noctua focuses more on cases and air coolers with the 140mm versions, leaving the 120mm to handle water cooling and some smaller air coolers.
    The price of ~39€ at which the NF-A14x25 G2 enters the Greek market is not the most attractive, but it is more or less the price required for one of the top fans on the market. What wins us over just by looking at it is the build quality, which exceeds our expectations and stands even higher than the be quiet fans we saw earlier this year.
