In the 4th edition of the Pocket Criminal Code, the new "Criminal Code" is included, as it stands after Law 5224/2025, which introduces amendments that expand the objective scope of the offenses provided for in articles 168 and 184, to also include acts committed in higher education institutions, as well as the incitement or facilitation of acts disrupting the academic function or violence (or threat of violence) against members of the university community.

The first part of the book presents the Criminal Code as it currently applies, while the second part contains the old Criminal Code for the convenience of the scholar of law and the legal practitioner.

For the provisions of the articles amended by Law 5090/2024, both the form of the articles from the entry into force of Law 5090/2024 and that which was applicable before its entry into force are provided.
