In the journey of our lives, we "play" three main roles: that of the child, the lover, and the parent. In this game, companionship and separation are experiences that trigger emotions in both the body and the psyche, as they involve people or events significant to which we develop relationships.
Out of fear or pleasure, we try to squeeze in as much companionship as possible into our lives. However, the quality is determined by the fear of separation. Thus, when we encounter companionship, separation seems to be a pre-agreed and non-negotiable reality.
Based on the shadowy sides of each of us, this book explores companionship and the fear of companionship, intimacy and distance, connection and disconnection, which, in each of their versions, conceal within them a hope for love.
