The Forestry board game by Capstone Games is a Euro-style strategy game in which players take on the role of forest managers, aiming to manage forests sustainably. Their decisions affect the health of the forest as they balance resource use, contract fulfillment, and the long-term preservation of the ecosystem. The mechanics are built around two workers, the logger and the manager, while actions are determined by points that combine forest health with timber production.
The game includes planting trees and managing water flow to improve soil moisture. Its educational element draws inspiration from the real work of foresters.
