Silver nitrate 75% Silverine stick in a pack of 10 pieces with a length of 20cm. The sticks contain silver nitrate and potassium nitrate at their tip. They are applied locally for chemical cauterization in various fields.

• Used for hemostasis of minor bleeding such as nosebleeds or cervical cuts after biopsies.
• Suitable for the removal of warts and in the field of podiatry, e.g. for the removal of corns.
• Allow easy removal of residual tissue from the umbilical cord of newborn babies.

Silver nitrate has an astringent and caustic action, while potassium nitrate moderates the effect of silver nitrate. Each stick contains 75% w/w silver nitrate as the active ingredient and 25% w/w potassium nitrate.
