The Artpol 53400 drill bit is made from HSS 4241 high-speed steel and is designed for drilling metal. Its 135° point angle and ground cutting edges with a corrected chisel edge help it self-center, eliminating the need for center punching or pre-drilling.

The right-hand Type N spiral flute has fully ground cutting edges and high torsional strength. The oxide layer helps increase drilling progress by 20% and reduce feed force by 25%. Use with drilling emulsion, lubricating and cooling oil, or ester oil; using the appropriate coolant increases service life fourfold.
