The Techstar ELM327 v2.2 diagnostic scanner connects to the vehicle’s OBD2 port via Bluetooth and allows you to read and clear both generic and manufacturer-specific fault codes. It displays real-time vehicle data, such as engine RPM, coolant temperature, speed, and intake manifold pressure, as well as freeze-frame data captured when a fault occurs. It also supports emissions testing and includes a database with more than 3,000 fault code definitions.
It works with OBD-II-compatible vehicles manufactured from 1996 onward and supports the ISO15765-4 (CAN), ISO14230-4 (KWP2000), ISO9141-2, J1850 VPW, and J1850 PWM protocols. It is compatible with diagnostic apps for iOS, Android, and Windows, such as Torque Pro, OBD Fusion, and Car Scanner ELM OBD2. The wireless connection range is 5–10 m.
