Description

Description

The Arctic MX-7 8gr thermal paste is an excellent choice for optimizing your computer’s thermal performance. Designed to effectively bridge the microscopic gaps between the processor or graphics card and the heatsink, it ensures maximum possible heat transfer, helping to maintain low operating temperatures and increase system stability.

Optimized Consistency (High Viscosity)

The MX-7 stands out for its dense and viscous texture, a result of its high filler content, which offers top thermal performance without "running".

Prevention of the “Pump-Out Effect”

The high internal cohesion of the material prevents cracking or leakage of the paste even after repeated thermal cycles, ensuring long-term stability.

Absolute Application Safety

It is completely electrically non-conductive and non-capacitive, eliminating any risk of short circuit, even if it comes into contact with live components.

Easy Application “Cross Method”

Due to its texture, the ideal application is done in an “X” pattern. The pressure from the heatsink spreads the paste evenly across the entire surface, filling even the smallest imperfections without air bubbles.

Long Lifespan

Its composition guarantees that it will not dry out, maintaining its performance stable for years, thus reducing the need for frequent maintenance (re-pasting).

It is an incredible thermal conductive paste and ideal for powerful processors (Ryzen AMD & Ultra Intel) to keep them at a good and stable temperature. Whether they are paired with air cooling or liquid cooling.

Very effective and with practically zero price difference from the well-known MX-4. The only caution I recommend is to heat it slightly (perhaps with a hair dryer or something similar) because in cold temperatures it is quite viscous and may not spread as well. If you make the change in the summer, the heat is enough to avoid this. The lifespan will be seen over time, but in the first 6 months it has very good results.

I got it to use in a Ryzen laptop that was hitting 80°C at idle, and of course it did a very good job. But since I already had the screwdrivers out, I thought I might as well change the ancient AMD A6 9220... I saw it for the first time since I bought it and for the first time after 3-4 maintenance sessions (the last one was with MX6) dropping below 40 degrees... I didn't expect a significant difference from the MX6 but it surprised me!

In a fleet I have of Dell QCM1250 (ultra 5 245T), 3060M (i3-8100T), 3050M (i5-7500T), 3040M (G4400T), and on a Latitude 7410 laptop (i5-10310U), I saw spectacular improvement. Compared to the Cooler Master HTK-002-U1-GP I had: On the Micro models, idle temps went to 34-40 degrees (from 46-54) with a max of 62-66 (from 70-80) under load, and on the laptop where I had a serious turbo boost issue it used to hit 100 degrees at startup and reached up to 96 degrees during use (and several times it would shut down completely for protection), now at startup it doesn't go above 70 and at maximum use it goes up to 84 degrees, while its idle is 42 degrees. It's a spectacular paste, buy it with your eyes closed! I didn't notice any issues that were mentioned about it being hard, not spreading, and such (I applied it with an X, got the 8gr, used it on 5 machines and I definitely have enough for 10 more..). AAA+

It is very viscus(sticky) don't try to spread it with a small spatula. Apply with pea method or some other and let it spread with the pressure from the cooler.

very good paste, it transfers heat nicely, it's just difficult to handle as it is not fluid enough. On a laptop with old paste, after the change I saw temperatures 2-3 degrees lower than when it was new.

Very good thermal paste with very good performance. It is a bit thicker, but this helps it spread properly and prevents gaps from forming. After replacing it, I noticed a significant decrease in temperatures compared to the old paste. Overall, a very good choice for CPU or laptop with a good price-to-quality ratio.

It is an excellent product. Having tried both the MX-4 and the MX-6, I found that the difference compared to the MX-4 is significant, unlike the MX-6 where the performance is similar. It has high viscosity, which makes it quite thick and particularly effective at filling air gaps. I mainly recommend it to those upgrading from MX-4 or older versions, such as the MX-2, because the difference compared to the MX-6 is small.
