The theatrical play "Sons and Daughters" is based on recorded interviews with elderly people from all over Greece, who were asked to highlight a story that marked their lives. Through their narratives, a dramaturgical material was composed that covers the period from the first wave of migration to America, the Occupation and the Civil War, up to the Seven-Year and the years of the Metapolitefsi.
The work of Yiannis Kalavrianos, which has received many distinctions and awards and has been successfully presented in Greece and abroad, is a mosaic of real stories, often extreme, that took place alongside major events of the last 100 years and remained in the shadow of officially recorded Greek History.
