For best results, it is important to shampoo your hair thoroughly before application. Use lukewarm to warm water to open the hair cuticles and allow the mask to fully penetrate. After washing, remove excess moisture and apply a quantity of the product from the mid-lengths to the ends of your hair. Leave the mask on for at least 5 minutes and rinse well with lukewarm to cool water. This will help close the hair cuticles and "lock in" the nutrients.
