This second volume is a continuation of the book "The Deserted Island and Other Writings." It compiles all the texts written between 1975 and 1995.
Most of these works follow the dual rhythm of current events (Italian and German terrorism, the Palestinian issue, peace movements, etc.), and the dissemination of the works (Hundred Platforms, Image-Movement, Chronoimage, What Is Philosophy?, etc.).
This collection includes lectures, prefaces, articles, interviews, published in France or abroad. Like the first volume, I did not wish to impose a predetermined line on the meaning or orientation of the texts, which is why I adopted a strict chronological order for their presentation.
This is not a new edition of Deleuze's "book" or a plan that Deleuze would have had. This collection aims to highlight texts that are often hard to find, scattered across journals, daily newspapers, collective works, foreign editions, etc.
