The GL69404 is a "Smart 1080p AV to HDMI Converter", which receives an analog video signal (yellow RCA for video and white/red for audio) and converts it into a digital HDMI output signal for a TV or monitor. It allows you to connect old devices (VCR, old DVD player, old consoles, receivers) to modern televisions that only have HDMI, and includes the capability to convert NTSC/PAL systems where needed.
