The AV (RCA) to HDMI converter type AV2HDMI is designed to connect old devices, such as VHS, DVD, and consoles, to HDTV. It supports resolutions up to 1080p and converts analog composite video + stereo audio signal (yellow/white/red RCA) to a digital HDMI signal. This allows the use of modern TVs/monitors that only have HDMI.

The product supports standard PAL/NTSC/SECAM signals and has an upscaler up to 720p or 1080p, with resolution selection through a small switch.
