UNBOXING
It comes in this simple cardboard packaging, naturally displaying the HAVN company logo in plain letters and in red letters <Universal Vertical GPU Kit>. The package includes side foam for proper product protection, and contains the support base, a small bag with screws and metal parts, and a quick installation guide booklet.

Design & Construction
With dimensions L x W x H: 213.95 x 142.85 x 135.3 mm, the kit is based on SGCC steel + ABS, a sturdy construction with a quite quality finish in its white version. Of course, there is also a black version option. The build quality is evident, and the total gross weight is 854g. There is no "flex" in the bracket under normal loads, which is important for heavy GPUs (RTX 5080/RX 9070XT class).
Highlights here are:
- Minimal white finish – ideal for white builds
- Design without RGB → clean, professional look
- Stable base with support foot to avoid sag (~40mm)

Compatibility & Flexibility
One of its biggest advantages is the "universal" philosophy:
• Supports a wide range of ATX cases
• 6-slot design → covers almost all modern GPUs with settings:
o vertical shift (±1 slot)
o lateral shift (+-20mm—varies depending on the motherboard)
o adjustable support for PSU shroud
In practice: You can place it exactly where you want inside the case—something many fixed kits do not offer.

One of the strongest points of the kit is that it comes with a Riser Cable (PCIe 5.0) with the following technical features:

Unlike various other cheap kits, no bottleneck or instability was observed in benchmarks and games where it was used.

Usage & Installation
The installation of the kit is of moderate difficulty (not plug & play for beginners) because it requires proper cable routing and careful alignment.
The installation tactic is that the support and mounting screws must fit into the side slots of the Case Expansion Slots—so it can also serve older cases for a new vertical look. It has a very good manual fit due to the adjustments and does not require further modding, but note that it requires space (~18mm mount thickness) inward—so it will slightly reduce GPU clearance. Unfortunately, the 18mm essentially do not leave enough space to comfortably plug in an HDMI or DP cable from behind, and we found that you will need to slightly cut the metal plate to properly connect to the graphics card. Another issue is that the riser cable turns out to be a bit short—and unintentionally determines the mounting height!

• Needs attention in tempered cases airflow/temperatures
• Not the easiest install for beginners
• Slightly reduces available GPU space
• Relatively short Riser Cable
• Difficulty placing HDMI/DP Cable

Final conclusion
The HAVN Universal Vertical GPU Kit White is one of the most complete vertical GPU kits and is ideal for:
• premium builds with AIO/Custom loop
• white themed setups
• high-end GPUs
However, it is not recommended for: tight budgets and small cases with limited airflow. Also, be careful if you have large air coolers—you may have compatibility issues.
So if you want a clean aesthetic result + top-tier riser cable, it is an excellent choice.
If you only care about functionality, there are cheaper solutions.
