  • I bought the shoe in February 2026 from a Dimitriadis store. The photo I uploaded was taken after about 600 kilometers of hiking over 6 months. Both shoes are tearing in the same place, where they crease as you walk. In general, the synthetic material on top is of very poor quality; it gets damaged very easily.
The second problem is the very high heel, which means you need to adjust your steps carefully so your ankle doesn’t twist on rocky terrain and elsewhere.

Other than that, it looks great, the outsole is holding up perfectly, I’m satisfied with the grip on all kinds of terrain, they’ve never rubbed or hurt my feet, and they fit me wonderfully (and I say that having tried other Salomon and Salewa shoes).

Conclusion: a nice, sturdy boot, but the upper materials are useless. I would NOT recommend it to anyone.

The best I've ever worn in La Sportiva and in general. Lightweight, durable.....for hiking on mountains and rocks, the best....
