The Scorpena Gamma hoods are designed for diving and provide protection for the diver's head and neck from cold when used with wetsuits that do not have an integrated hood. They are made of soft and stretchy neoprene, covered with nylon, and feature seams sewn with a "blind" stitch, which prevents water penetration. Additionally, the ends of all seams are glued with specialized neoprene adhesive. The wide cuff is made of slightly thinner neoprene.
