The Discovery Nano microscope is a digital, polarizing biological microscope with a monocular head and a 0.3 MP digital camera. It can be used for visual observation, as well as taking photos and videos or viewing the image on an external screen via a computer. The camera connects via a USB cable and requires software installation; the software is included on a CD.

The optical system includes a 10x wide-field eyepiece and three glass achromatic objective lenses. The 40x objective lens has a spring-loaded protective frame. The dual LED illumination is positioned above and below the stage, and the intensity of the lower light can be adjusted using the diaphragm disc. The illustrated book “The Invisible World” is included in the package.
